Sunset photo session: on the beach and one location
The sun sets between 6:20 and 6:30. The most spectacular light and seascapes are usually between 1/2 hour before and 15 minutes after sunset. The timing of the photo shoot is based on this.
The photographer will arrive at the location around 4:30.
4:30-5:00 will be the time the photographer will scout locations, set up equipment (if used), and discuss wardrobe. The photographer really appreciates hearing your ideas during this planning stage.
Around 5:00-5:45 photos will be taken in various locations, with different groups of people. Clothing changes are possible.
Around 6:00 we will move to the beach.
Depending on the sky, the session will end around 6:45.
Outfit
Solid colors are preferable. Patterns and words on clothing can distract from the overall image.
Simple clothes are usually best. You are the subject of the photo, not your clothes.
Clothing worn on the beach must be able to get wet… we can walk in the water, etc.
It is likely to be windy on the beach, so loose clothing and loose hair can be a very good option.

Make-up
The best makeup look for this type of session is a clean and natural look…especially on the beach.
The most important thing to remember is to relax and have fun.
